Bevelwork is a demonstration studio, and these terms show the shape a real engagement would take.
A demonstration studio
Bevelwork does not exist. Its work, its rates and its journal are invented for this template, and the figures on the rates page are worked examples, not a quote for a real project.
What a quote commits
A quote becomes an engagement only once it is confirmed in writing and a deposit is paid. Nothing discussed by email or in a call before that point holds either side to a price or a date.
Deposits
A deposit secures a start date and is set against the final fee. Setting it high enough removes any argument about payment terms later, which the rates page argues directly and these terms carry through.
Revision rounds
An engagement includes a stated number of revision rounds, agreed before work starts. A round outside that number is scoped and charged separately rather than absorbed into the original fee.
Ownership of the work
Ownership of the finished work transfers once the final invoice is paid in full. Work in progress, and anything not paid for, remains the studio’s own.
